First thermolysis recycling module in operation

At the beginning of October 2020, our technology partner Biofabrik Technologies GmbH delivered the first thermolysis module with a processing capacity of 250 kg/day to England. Based on this first productive module, series production of the P1000 modules with a capacity of 1000 kg/day is now starting. The first 10 modules are being delivered to ENESPA.

We will be the first company to recycle mixed plastic waste with thermolysis technology on an industrial scale.
Almost 10 years ago, we were able to demonstrate with our own prototype that thermolysis technology for recycling mixed plastic waste can be operated continuously and economically.
Meanwhile, we are focusing on developing sites and operating facilities. We now benefit fully from our many years of experience and the know-how we have gained. We are focused on raising capital, the approval process, site development, sourcing the right raw materials, obtaining funding and trading the final product. The feeding systems, in which we partly use our own technologies, are crucial for the continuous operation of the facilities.

Industrial plastics recycling — investors can participate directly in this exciting business for the first time
There are two financing instruments for financing the investments.

  • Investors can invest in our company by buying shares. The current share price is indicated on the subscription certificate.
  • We will also offer bonds for investors starting at the beginning of October 2020. 4.5%/year for 4 years. The bonds are distributed through ENESPA AG Balzers. In Liechtenstein, the financial authorities (FMA) have examined and approved our project.

Manufacturing the components for the 1,000 kg/day modules at Nürmont

Development risk is offloaded
By purchasing the equipment from our technology partner and focusing on site development and operations, we have been able to offload the development risk.
With the first 250 kg/day module, which Biofabrik delivered in Autumn 2020 after extensive acceptance tests, the technology was proven to work perfectly. The 1,000 kg/day modules are a scale-up of the first unit. Series production will start at the end of 2020 at the equipment manufacturer Nürmont. We have ordered and paid for 10 modules. The first acceptance test of the first 1,000 kg/day module will start in early 2021. With the subsequent acceptance tests of the other modules, the first unit will be assembled and put into operation.

ENESPA AG will generate positive cash flow starting with the first investment. By operating several facilities simultaneously, revenues increase disproportionately and, accordingly, so does the value of the company. There is great demand for this technology. 18 locations in Germany are interested in operating a facility at this time.

The business development fund of the Schwarze Pumpe Industrial Park is very interested in the ENESPA project. Following a thorough investigation, the responsible development bank declared the project eligible for funding. The project will be supported by the development bank once the approval process is completed. The approval process is in progress. (As of July 2020)

The aim is for the first 5,000 kg/day facility in the industrial park to be commissionedby the end of 2020. As soon as this facility is in reliable operation, ENESPA will build another ten facilities and then gradually expand to forty facilities. The ten facilities are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2021.
