Preparatory work for the approval process of the first 1,000 kg/day recycling module

We actually wanted to start approval process for the first 1,000 kg/day module in December 2020. Coronavirus threw a spanner in the works. Subcontractors delivered late or not at all.

Delivery of the 1,000 kg/day recycling modules

The delay has little impact on our overall project plan
The approval process for the first module will now start in calendar week 4 of 2021, despite ongoing difficulties due to coronavirus. We are challenged on a daily basis to adapt to a wide variety of coronavirus-related rules. Originally, we planned the approval process at the premises of the mechanical engineering company Nürmont, Freiberg (Germany); but the necessary approval authorities were not available because of coronavirus.

Delivery of daily containers for the raw material. It keeps the raw material in a conditioned state (temperature, humidity and conveying ability) and fills the recycling module.

Biofabrik Technologies found a solution so that the approval process could start as planned. Another supplier provided their solution for research and development. This provides the engineers with a perfect working environment for the approval process.
The recycling module and the daily feeder were still delivered in calendar week 51 of 2020. In week 1 to 3, all components will be assembled and the test operation will start in calendar week 4.
The other modules are in production at the mechanical engineering company Nürmont and are being transferred for the approval process on an ongoing basis.

ENESPA AG will generate positive cash flow starting with the first investment. There is great demand for this technology. 18 locations in Germany are interested in operating a facility at this time.

The business development fund of the Schwarze Pumpe Industrial Park is very interested in the ENESPA project. Following a thorough investigation, the responsible development bank declared the project eligible for funding. The project will be supported by the development bank once the approval process is completed. The approval process is in progress. (As of July 2020)

The aim is for the first 5,000 kg/day facility in the industrial park to be commissionedby the end of 2020. As soon as this facility is in reliable operation, ENESPA will build another ten facilities and then gradually expand to forty facilities. The ten facilities are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2021.
